The Game Plan!

I hope everyone is safe and well. I want to quickly bring you to speed on things for now and when we are back in class on Monday, Sept. 9.

I know we, because of Labor Day, did not miss class this week, I still want to keep you on track going into next week and we’ll hope to get back on track.

1. Please bring to class a copy of your CURRENT Resume, what you would bring to a job interview. We will be discussing this in class Monday.

2. I am uploading an article to the blog site, www.ideas-are-bulletproof.com (you need to subscribe to it if you have not) about why one should pick to be an English Major. Please read it, make notes and annotate questions and thoughts for discussion in class Monday. What we do not get to Monday will go online to a forum on Moodle next week to discuss further.

3. Please remember that your Careers in English, Assignment 1, was due Sunday night, Sept. 8. I will extend the deadline to Monday night, Sept. 9 so I can address any questions Monday.It can be uploaded via Moodle inside the Contents section labeled: “Assignment 1: Careers in English” in the Assignment link within.

4. I will also give out your Assignment 2 information next week. Keep an eye out for it.
